Overmountain Vineyards

Nestled in the Tryon Foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains on over 10 acres of land, and a Certified Protected Segment of the Overmountain Victory National Historic Trail, Overmountain Vineyards beckons you to come and enjoy an experience that is like no other. Your options for the day are: walk the vineyards during a tour, learn about the Overmountain Men and their impact on the nation's history, take in spectacular views and of course, taste our estate wines. On the tour, you may choose to stroll through our vineyards with a glass in hand as you we introduce you to the source of our fabulous new wines. We have 2 varieties of grapes planted, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. You could also sit on the porch and rock gently as you take in the stunning mountain views out on the horizon. Or, you could just sit and chat with us and other guests in our cozy new tasting room where we share more about our production process. You choose! We are open Thursday through Sunday, 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Come see us soon!

From Charlotte: Hwy 74 West, exit 173, Union Rd. Turn Left and go .2 miles. Turn right and go 4.5 miles. Tasting room on left. From Asheville: I-26E to exit 67. Stay to left for Hwy. 74 East towards Charlotte. Take exit 167, for Hwy 9. Turn right, go 4 miles, turn left at flashing light. Go 2 miles. Tasting room on right.
