Calaboose Cellars

In the shadows of the Great Smoky Mountains, just twenty minutes from white water rafting on the Nantahala River, there's an old stone building with bars on the windows that overlooks our small vineyards. Legend has it that the local lawman locked up the hooligans here to cool down until they went before the magistrate. Now we use the jailhouse to incarcerate our wines.We are the first of two winery west of Biltmore! Located in the most beautiful valley in western North Carolina, Cherokee County which is Cherokee Country.
