Come be a part of one of the area’s most enjoyable and popular events, the Statesville Grape and Gourmet Tasting. This exclusive wine tasting event gives attendees an opportunity to taste a variety of 75 different wines from North Carolina vineyards and around the country, sample tastings from some of Statesville’s best restaurants and caterers, socialize with friends and participate in the silent auction benefiting Hospice & Palliative Care of Iredell County. This “cannot miss event” will be held at the Statesville Civic Center located at 300 South Center Street, in historic Downtown Statesville. Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 day of event and are available at the Wine Maestro (Statesville and Mooresville locations), Statesville Civic Center (704-878-3493) and Downtown Statesville Development Corporation. The Statesville Civic Center is located at the intersection of Front and Center Streets in downtown Statesville. From Northbound I-77: take exit 49A and turn left on highway 70 (Garner Bagnal Blvd.) Travel one mile and turn right onto highway 115/21 (Center Street). The Civic Center is located one-half mile on the left. From Southbound I-77: take exit 50 and turn right on East Broad Street. Continue straight into town and turn left on South Tradd Street then turn right on East Front Street. At the traffic light, turn left on Center Street and the Civic Center is on the immediate right. From I-40: take exit 150 and drive south on highway 115/21(Center Street). Travel one and one-half mile and the Civic Center will be on your right just past the intersection of Front Street.
