Tryon's 125th Birthday Celebration

Celebrate 125 years of Tryon history. Sign up for the golf tournament at the very historic Tryon Country Club on a course designed by Donald Ross. Friday evening music by The Firecracker Jazz Band in Rogers Park at 7pm. Bring your chairs, picnic and cooler. Shops, pubs and cafes will be open late on Friday. See a first-run movie at our historic Tryon Movie Theatre. Saturday is the Tryon Heritage Parade & Governor Tryon's Tea. A must-see is the Tryon Toymaker's House & Musuem grand-opening. Carriage rides through two of our historic neighborhoods. Tour the old Tryon City Cemetery with our Mayor. Food, beer, wine and fabulous local music on McCown Street.
