Festival events include elaborate garden tours; lectures featuring Lady Henrietta Spencer-Churchill, Chip Callaway and Margie Shambaugh; a flower show/photography competition; a home and garden shop; and a Giverny-themed Patrons Party. The 2009 Mountains in Bloom is the 11th annual nature-themed event to raise money for The Bascom visual art center, in Highlands.
