From I-77 take exit 83 (northbound traffic only) or exit 85 to US 21 north. Follow US 21 un the mountain for 28 miles to Sparta, NC. At the second traffic light, take a left onto NC 18 South towards Laurel Springs. Follow NC 18 South for approximately 11 miles, then take a left onto Elk Knob Road (SR 1143) at junction with NC 113. Follow Elk Knob Road for about 0.3 mile; take the first driveway to the right.
